  7. 2C following 1NT:  Promises 3 suit hand, one of 
  8.   which is clubs. 2 QT (RPC of about 12 or more).

  10. Double of weak 1NT:  Balanced distribution, HCPC 15;
  11.   for penalties if partner does not bid a long suit.
  12.  
  13. Double of strong 1NT: 5/4 in major suit. HCPC 8.
  14.  
  15. Pre-emptive 3 bids:  Jump bids which promise 7 card
  16.    suits and hands with little defensive value.
  17.
